ALFRED R. DILLEY
BELDING - Alfred R. Dilley, 86, of Belding died Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995, in Grand
Rapids.

Born Sept. 29, 1908, in Mulliken, he was the son of Benjamin and Nellie Tomason
Dilley. He retired in 1968 from Oldsmobile, Lansing, after 35 years employment.

He was married June 3, 1972, in Belding to the former Katherine Shindorf Hansen. She
survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Betty (Andrew) Hudson of Mason; three sons, Earl
(Martha) Dilley of treasure Island, Fla.: Russell Dilley of Lansing, and Ronald (Fern)
Dilley, also of Lansing; three step-daughters, Trudy Cowles of Belding; Geraldine Bradley of
Kississmee, Fla., and Carole (Jerold) Fasett of Wyoming, Mich.; 27 grandchildren; 55 great-
grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his first wife in 1965 and by a daughter, Annette, in
infancy.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Johnson Funeral Home, with the
Rev. George Darling officiating.

Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

A memorial has been established for the Hospice of Greater Grand Rapids, in care of
the funeral home.
