Dingman, 79 years of age, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John R. Welch, 114 Lytle street, Thursday evening at 7:15 o’clock. He was born May 25, 1857 at Monroe, and on March 16, 1886 was married to Miss Julia Steck. He was a conductor for 40 years on the Pere Marquette railway lines, and worked at the Hayes Ionia until it closed. Survivors are his widow, Julia F. Dingman; three children, Mrs. Ed N. Lowrey, Mrs. John R. Welch and Thomas, Jr. of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. George Pierson of Guilford, and Mrs. Harriett Brown of Streeter, Ill. Funeral services will be held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John R. Welch, 114 W. Lytle street, Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Woolcock of the First Baptist church, officiating.
