Dinning, who was 58 years of age, was taken to the hospital on September 7, and submitted to the operation Thursday, September 11. He had been in ill health for several years. Born November 30, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dinning of Ronald township, he had spent his entire life in Ionia county. For the past 28 years he lived at his present home on the Steel road. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, No. 36. F and A.M. For several years he had been a chairman of the triple A program in Ionia township. He married Mrs. Ida Frost January 17, 1921, in Ionia. Surviving are the wife, Ida; three children, Herbert Dinning of Ionia township, Mrs. Mary Ann Bernier of Kalamazoo, and Mrs. Hazel Bishop of South Ionia; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Rudd, of Ionia township; three grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Don Minier, of Flint, and three stepchildren, Frank Frost of Ionia, Gerald Frost and Mrs. Albert Hoppough of Ionia township.
