Ionia Sentinel, 2001

Mr. Herbert D. Dinning, 90, of Ionia passed away Nov. 4, 2001 after a brief 
period of illness.

Herb was born in Ionia on May 17, 1911, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert 
Dinning.  He retired after a lifetime of farming in Ionia.  He won several 
awards in his field and maintained an active interest in farming until his 
death.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; family members; and many wonderful 
friends.

Visiting hours will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Myers Memorial 
Chapel, 148 E. Main St., Ionia.  Private grave side services will be held later 
at Balcom Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Ionia 4-H in 
care of the Myers Memorial Chapel, of Ionia.
