Mother and Daughter Die

Robert Dinning, Jr., Sorely Str___  The Flu.

Mrs. Jennie M. Dinning, wife of Robert Dinning, aged 34, died last night at ??
minutes to 12 of influenza, her four-year-old daughter, Dorothy Louise, died at
5 o’clock in the evening.  The funeral service will be ?? from the residence in
Ionia township on the Steele road, Sunday afternoon.  Both mother and daughter
will be buried in the same casket.  Rev. E.E. Branch will officiate and
interment will be in Highland Park . . .[unreadable lines].

The funeral for Mrs. Robert Denning, jr., and her four-year-old daughter were
held Sunday afternoon at two o’clock from the residence in Ionia township. 
Mother and daughter were buried in the same casket, Rev. E.E. Branch officiating
at the double service.  The bearers were Roy Hall, Ralph Moore, Floyd Snyder,
Fred Wright, Harry Grieves and Theodore Lehman.  The death of Mrs. Denning
leaves five small children, the eldest 10 years of age, motherless.
