Ionia Sentinel, Saturday, July 23, 1966

Mrs. Aloyse Dixon, 52, of 221 Dye street, died Friday evening at Methodist 
hospital in Rochester, Minn where she had been a patient since June 29.  She 
had been ill the past year and a half.

She was born September 5, 1913, in Ionia to James and Elizabeth Kenny.  She 
married Charles E. Dixon September 3, 1949, and they have resided in Ionia 
until the present. 

Mrs. Dixon was formerly employed at First Security Bank of Ionia and the Ionia 
County Road Commission.  She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic 
church, Daughters of Isabella and Rosary society.

She is survived by her husband, Charles, one daughter, Kay, three sons, Robert, 
William and Richard, one sister, Catherine Kenny of Ionia, and three brothers, 
Hugh Kenny of Dearborn and Gerald and John Kenny of Ionia.

Requiem mass will be said for her Monday at 9 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul 
Catholic church.  Interment will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Stone Kauffman funeral home.
