Richard A. Dick Dodd, 50, of Ionia, died Tuesday, at the Ionia County Memorial
Hospital.  He was born, the son of Everett W. and Ann T. Tomecek Dodd on
September 12, 1941, in Adrian.  He was a member of SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic
Church, Ionia.  He worked at American Bumper since October of 1989.  He was a
member of the Knights of Columbus and the Downtown Development Authority and a
volunteer worker of the American Cancer Society.

Surviving are his wife Wanda; his son Michael of Ann Arbor; his daughter Heather
of Ionia; and his mother Ann Dodd of Mesa Arizona.  He was preceded in death by
his father Everett, in 1989 and his brother, Everett Jr.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday from SS. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church,
Ionia, with the Rev. Robert D. Lunsford, officiating.  Organist will be Renate
Conrad.  The family will be at Myers Funeral Home from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday,  A
Prayer Vigil will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Hall officiating.
