Eleanor E. Dodson, 96, of Hubbardston died Saturday at Ionia Manor.  She was 
born Feb. 17, 1893, in Aurelius, Mich., the daughter of Adelbert & Jennie 
Shermerhorn.  She was graduated from Alba High School, Antrim County Normal, 
and Central Michigan University, and retired in 1955 from Alba Public Schools 
as a teacher.  She was married to William Dodson in 1957; he died in 1983.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Schnepp Funeral Home in 
Carson City.  Burial will be in West Side Cemetery, Hubbardston.  The family 
will be at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
