Miss Elsie Dodson, daughter and only child of Mr. and Mrs. George Dodson, 134 
Lincoln Ave. West passed away at 2 o'clock on Sunday morning. She had been 
confined to the bed several months and made a valiant fight for restoration to 
health, but it was not so to be. She was aged 18 years, was a beautiful girl in 
character, and her untimely demise is a sad blow to the parents. Deceased was 
stricken ill last summer, while teaching her second year of school in the 
Chester Adgate district of Berlin. There will be a funeral service at the home 
at 10 o'clock on Tuesday morning, and at the Palo Baptist church at 1 o'clock in 
the afternoon
