Ionia County News, 21 Aug 1947

Frank Doherty, Ionia, Rt. 2, died at the Ionia county Memorial Hospital, Friday, 
Aug. 15, after a brief illness.  He was born in Sanilac county 58 years ago and 
had lived in Birmingham before coming to Ionia three years ago.  He is survived 
by the widow, the former Elizabeth Campbell, whom he married in Royal Oak 40 
years ago; a daughter, Mrs. Cecil McKinnon, Auburn Heights; three sons, Earl and 
David, of Ionia, and Floyd of Philadelphia.

Funeral service was held in Birmingham, Monday with burial there.
