Ionia County News, 16 Jul 1925

Terry Dolan, former Ionian, died at Mercy hospital at Jackson last Saturday as 
the result of a stroke of paralysis.  He had been an engineer on the Pere 
Marquette railroad for many decades, being one of its pioneers.  He was a 
former city alderman and served in that capacity at the time electric lights 
were adopted for Ionia streets.  At one time he was head of the B. of L. E. 
brotherhood there.

Mr. Dolan had lived for the past six years with Mrs. Grace I. Rooney, a niece, 
at Jackson.

The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Jackson and interment was 
made in a Jackson cemetery.
