Mr.Dolley died April 29 at Osteopathic Hospital in Grand Rapids after a short illness. Rev. Joseph Noom of the Free Methodist Church of Ionia officiated at the services.Interment was at Tuttle Cemetery. Mr.Dolley was born October 13, 1899 in Lake City.He was the son of Uriah and Katherine (Stephans) Dolley. He was married to Gertrude Ames October 13, 1920 at Falmouth. They came to Ionia in 1928 and resided there until 1950, when they moved to Orleans. He was employed at Ypsilanti Reed Furniture,Mitchell Bentley, and A.O. Smith Company. He retired in 1965. He was an honorary member of Amvets of World War II. He is survived by his wife Gertrude; four sons, Levi of Portland, Earl of Ionia, Jesse Jr. of Lyons and Francis of Ionia; three daughters, Mrs.Dorothy Stanton and Mrs Dora Jones of Ionia and Mrs.Geraldine Leland of Orleans; two brothers, Erwin of Reed City and Harry of Florida; one sister, Mrs.Ruby Ensing of McBain; 29 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
