Ila E. Doolittle Hillard Dukes Dolloff, 94, formerly of Sheridan, died
Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Belding Christian Nursing home.  She was born July 27,
1901 in Ferris Township, Montcalm County, to Clarence and Viola (Shaw)
Doolilttle.  She was a member of the Pine Grove Church and was baptized on Sept.
10, 1951.  She was self employed as a Midwife/Nurse.

She is survived by sons Clarence (Theresa) Hillard, of Bellevue, Mich., Donald
(Audrey) Dukes, of Crystal, and Ronald (Shirley) Dukes, of Stanton; daughters:
Lorraine Slocum, of Ionia, Dagmer Smith, of Bellevue, and Vivian (Clair)
Overley, of Lake, Mich.; 50 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 15
great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Charles Doolittle, of Greenville, Lawrence
(Helen) Doolittle, of Phoenix, Ariz. and Homer (Ted) and Lorraine Doolittle, of
Stanton; sisters: Minnie Barber, of Greenville and Maxine (Jeff) Smith, of
Vestaburg, Mich. 

She was preceded in death by three husbands, her parents, brother Marvin
Doolittle, daughters Viola, Lenora and Helen Ilene, two grandsons and one
great-grandson.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995 at 11 a.m. at Schnepp Funeral
Home, in Crystal with Rev. Rolla Timmons officiating.  Interment will be at
Ferris Center Cemetery, and visitation was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday. 
Memorials may be made to the Pine Grove Church.
