Mrs. Dolson arrived in Chicago to visit her daughter December 10 and was stricken the following Wednesday. About three years ago Mrs. Dolson suffered a slight stroke and a little over a year ago she suffered a second. Mrs. Dolson was a most worthy . . . [unreadable line] . . . Order of the Eastern Star, and was one of the most active members as long as her health permitted. Since her health had not been as good she attended the meetings of the chapter when ever she was able. She was also a member of Ionic shrine No. 41, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. Her husband, Charles Dolson, passed away in May, 1923. The funeral party will leave Chicago Wednesday night in the body will be brought from Grand Rapids early Thursday morning. Besides Mrs. Carlyle, Mrs. Dolson is survived by four other children, Mrs. H.E. Towne, of Detroit; Dr. George E. Dolson, of Ladd, Ill.; Rodney W. Dolson, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. L.R. McNaughton, of Ionia. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Franklin, and Mrs. Abbie Chase, of Jackson. The funeral will be held from the residence, 412 East Washington street, Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
