DOLSON PASSED AWAY LATE TODAY Stroke of Paralysis Suffered Few Days Ago Proves Fatal to Veteran Pere Marquette Employee Charles Dolson, one of the oldest employees of the Pere Marquette railroad in Ionia, died at his home on East Washington street late this afternoon after an illness that had lasted several months. Mr. Dolson suffered a stroke of paralysis some weeks ago and another and more serious stroke a few days ago, since which left no hope of his recovery. Mr. Dolson had been employed by the Pere Marquette here for many years. For a number of years he was an engineer, later becoming baggageman at the local station, a position which he had held for a number of years. He is survived by the widow and five children, Mrs. Harvey Towne of Pontiac; Mrs. Roy McNaughtoon, of Ionia; Mrs. Victor Carlisle, of Chicago; Dr. George Dolson of Ionia and Rodney Dolson, of Grand Rapids.
