March 31, 1903. George Donald died at the home of his brother-in-law, Farley Shoemaker, Tuesday afternoon, March 31st, in his 20th year. George was only sick about two weeks and was confined ot his home but a few days. Typhoid fever, with other complications, developed rapidly in the latter part of his illness and for all that could be donee he passed away. His funeral was held at the Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock, being in charge of Rev. Swindt. His pall bearers were John Bannan, Wallace Green, Jay Somers, Glenn Irish, Frank Wirtz, and Jas. Cotter Jr. Interment in Pewamo cemetery. He leaves a number of brothers and sisters to mourn his early death. His parents died a number of years ago.
