Belding Banner-News, 20 Sep 1962

Lawrence A. Donavan, 67, died Sept. 12 at the Erben Nursing home Belding.  He
had been ill eight years.  He was born in Belding Oct. 26, 1894 and his address
was 504 S. Pleasant St.  He was a city fireman for 25 years and also owned and
operated a restaurant and candy store on Main St.

Surviving are his wife Rosalie, two daughters Mrs. James (Rosalie) Field of Ft.
Pierce, Fla., and Mrs. James (Bonnie) Wilson of Belding, and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev.
Fr. Charles E. Steves officiating.  Burial was in St. Joseph’s church cemetery.
 Rosary was recited Friday at the Huffman Funeral Home.
