Retired Farmer Takes Own Life
Hold Funeral Wednesday for Charles Donner

Funeral services for Charles F. Donner, 66, who was found dead in the garage at
his home, 925 W. Main street, at noon Sunday by his wife, Amelia, were held at
the Myers funeral home Wednesday afternoon.  Rev. H.S. Ellis of Belding
officiated, with burial in Highland Park cemetery.

Bearers were James Martin, Roy Grove, Emil Lange and Harry Lyle.  Besides the
wife a son, Auburn Donner of Ionia and a daughter, Mrs. O.D. Gates of Pontiac
survive.

Coroner Harry Myers who was called Sunday pronounced death due to carbon
monoxide poisoning.  Mr. Donner, a retired farmer, had been reported in ill
health.
