Amy Renee (Esch) Donovan, of Portland, 37, died Nov. 30, 2008 as a result of a
car accident.  Amy was born March 19, 1971 in Lansing.  She was a graduate of
Portland High School Class of 1989, and was employed by Deerfield Correctional
Facility in Ionia.  She had a generous free spirit and filled the lives of those
around her with love and laughter.

She is survived by her parents, Thomas and Jacalyn Esch; two children, Rachael
and Kyle Hinds; brothers, Scott (Jeanne) Esch, William (Vicki) Esch along with
their children Ashleigh and Dillon Esch.  She is further survived by husband,
Steve Donovan and step-children Jessica, Jon, and Taylor Donovan.

The funeral Mass was held on Dec. 4 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Grand Ledge,
with the Reverend Fr. James Eisele as celebrant.  Interment was at North Eagle
Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand
Ledge.

Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations are made to the Amy
Donovan Education Fund c/o Portland Federal Credit Union, 9077 Charlotte Hwy.,
Portland, MI 48875.
