Ionia Sentinel (Pg. 5) - Thursday, May 26, 1881

A telegram received from Muir announces the death at that place, Wednesday, of 
Miss Nancy Donovan. Deceased had many friends here, and her death will be 
greatly regretted. She was formerly a teacher in the public schools of this 
city, and went to Ann Arbor intending to complete a course of study, in the 
university, but failing health forced her to give it up. She went to Florida to 
try a change of climate but it was of no avail, and she has finally succumbed 
to the grim destroyer.
