Ionia Sentinel Standard, 28 Apr 1951

Dr. John Donovan, 55, a Belding dentist since 1944, died Wednesday night after
an illness of eight months.  Born in Belding, Dr. Donovan was a graduate of
Northwestern University dental school.  After his graduation from Northwestern
he practiced in Detroit until he located his practice in Belding in 1944.  He
was a member of the Masonic lodge at Belding and of the state dental association.

Surviving is his wife Mary.  The body was removed to the Huffman funeral home.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in River Ridge Cemetery.]
