  Excerpts from Grand Rapids Obituary

         SANDRA LEE DOOD

d.July 16, 2024-age 80 at home.
b.July 13, 1944 in Ionia, one of two daughters born to Kenneth & Helen (Beck) 
Rowley.
She spent early childhood in Ionia, relocating to Grand Rapids in Middle school, 
graduating from Creston High School.
Sandi started her medical working life as an EKG Tech for Butterworth Hospital, 
soon working in real estate, selling homes for Pearson-Cook Realtors as a 
career.
Met Jim Dood  in 1970 & married on March 13, 1971.
Sandi & Jim were long time members of Faith Lutheran Church.
Sandi spent many years assisting with the church's booking keeping, and 
financial managing.
They loved traveling & camping in their motor home. 
She was a part of a Bridge club & they both played cards with their friends.
Survived by her husband of 53 years, Jim; her children; Scott Plank, Wendy Ladd, 
Jodie Wetterman, Derek (Tania Adal) Dood and Brent Dood; grandchildren; 
Jeffrey(Jamie),Alyana, Jared, Audrey (Adam), Mitchell(Erica0), Mary, David, 
Allie, Erica, Zach, Violette & Charlotte; great-grandchildren: Bailey, Haley, 
Bennett, Rovin & Guhner, sister Linda Whitely as well as many relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2024 from 10:00 am. to 11:00 am. at 
Faith Lutheran Church.
Funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Kent 
Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations in Sandi's memory may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
