Ray A. Doolittle Passed Away

Ray A. Doolittle, 85, of Portland, passed away, July 8, at St. Lawrence 
Hospital, Lansing. A native of Portland, he had lived in N. Dakota at one time 
and returned in Portland about ten years ago. The Doolittle family lived on a 
farm northwest of Lake Odessa years ago. 

Surviving are a son, Lynn of Miami, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Eloise Campbell of 
Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Ethlyn Buckle of Woodland and Mrs. Annette Jeffreys 
of Lansing; and grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Neller 
Funeral Home at Portland with burial in Danby cemetery.
