He was born June 24, 1961 in Lakeview, MI the son of Leo and Barbara (Hummell) Dora. He married Kimberly Lemke September 19, 1981 in Ionia. Dennis was a Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing at Synergis Technologies Group. His career lead him to many upon many accomplishments, including traveling to China, Mexico and working with a team from India. He dedicated himself to his position for 17 years. Through work ethics, his passion for his job and his positive attitude he motivated and inspired those around him. He carried his passion an ethics into everything he did and everyone he loved. He loved his family more than words can say. He loved hunting, fishing, Lions Football and his 72 Chevelle. Dennis has passed on to be with baby brother Christopher Dora. He will be dearly missed by his family: wife of 26 years Kim Dora. Daughter Chanelle and Charles Ring III. Son Nathaniel Dora and Angela Wandel whom he considered a daughter. Father and Mother Leo and Barbara Dora. Sisters Connie and Rodney Zeller, Wanda and Bill Powers, Jackey and Danny Haney. Brother Glenn and Penny Dora and Jeff and Cindy Young whom he considered a brother. Father and Mother in law Eugene and Leatrice (Lange) Lemke. Brothers in law Kurt and Stephanie Lemke and Kendal and Lynda Lemke. He had 18 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Saturday 1-3 and 6-8 P.M. and Sunday 3-6 P.M. at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. There will be no services per Dennis’s request. In lieu of flowers anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to his son’s future education or the charity of the family’s choice.
