The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, February 22, 1929
Archie Dorey, 44, died at his home in Detroit Thursday afternoon after a brief 
illness. The body will arrive in Ionia Saturday noon and the funeral services 
will follow at 1 o’clock at the Woodard Lake church.  Burial will be in 
Woodard Lake cemetery.  Rev. H. S. Ellis, of Belding, will be in charge.

Mr. Dorey is survived by his widow, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neil 
Gilmore, who live near Orleans, an 11-year-old son, his mother and three 
sisters.  He was an employee of the Michigan Central railway.
