Dorin, whose death was spoken of in our last issue, was born in Lyons township, at the old home where her brother, Ishar Wheeler now lives, and there grew to womanhood; of a bright and cheerful disposition, she was beloved by all who knew her. At the age of nineteen she married Wm. Dorin, and three years later they moved to Ellsworth, Kansas, where they lived until seven years ago, when they moved to Coalcamp, Mo., where they lived at the time of her death, which occurred June 16th. Her husband and seven children survive her, five daughters and two sons, also two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Chas. Campbell of Portland, Ishar at the old home and Mrs. Geo. Canfield of Carson City. Ray, the younger son, and her husband brought her remains back to the old home for burial, where funeral services were held June 19th, when the many friends of her childhood came to pay their last respects. Interment in Portland cemetery, where her father and mother sleep.
