She was born in Portland April 17, 1922 the daughter of Willard and Addie (Fuller) Kinney. Mrs. Dorner was a very active member of the Portland United Methodist Church, was a member of the Ladies Literary Society, the Portland V.F.W. Post #4090 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a Girl Scout Leader for 14 years. She worked at the A and P Store in Portland for many years and also at TRW in the shipping department. She enjoyed wintering in Florida, and watching her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Fred; daughters, Kathleen (Larry) Terpstra of Sunfield and Jacqueline (Mel) Martin of Portland; grandchildren, Lucas, Amanda, and Caleb Terpstra, and Randy and Bryan Martin; sister, Thelma Peacock of Chipley, Fla.; niece, Janice (Ray) Ferris of Lyons; nephew, Bill (Alice) Peacock of Florida. Services were conducted by the Rev. Paul Bailey March 13 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland with interment at Danby Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association or to the Portland united Methodist Church.
