Ionia Sentinel, 16 May 1961

C. Percy Doty, 77, died Monday at 10:30 p.m. in Belding City hospital.  Born 
May 4, 1884 in Berlin township, he was the son of Charles and Elizabeth Doty.  
He was a farmer and had spent all of his life in Ionia county.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Cora Rogers of Orleans, Mrs. Maude Howe of 
Orleans township, Mrs. Ray Bixby of Saranac, and Mrs. Ernest Chickering of 
route one, Belding; two brothers, Allen Doty of Belding, and Hubert Doty of 
Ionia.

Funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Huffman funeral 
home with interment at Balcom cemetery.  The Rev. H. S. Ellis will officiate.
