Funeral services for Edward N. Doty, life-long resident of Berlin township, who 
died Wednesday evening following an illness of several months, were held from 
the home in Berlin township Saturday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Paul L. 
Stewart, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating.  Bearers were the four 
brothers, Charles, Max, Allen and Hubert Doty.  Vocal selections were rendered 
by Miss Geraldine Seely.  Interment was at the Balcom cemetery.

Relatives and friends attending the services from away were Dr. and Mrs. 
Ludwig, of Jackson; Mrs. Jessie Magers and daughter, of Belding; Mr. and Mrs. 
Myrl Doty of Lake Odessa; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Wooldridge, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. 
Wooldridge, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Howe, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Chickering and Mrs. 
Cora Rogers, Orleans township.
