Ionia Sentinel Standard, 1 Feb 1969

Allen W. Doty, 78 of 915 Martha street Belding died at his home Friday.  He was
born November 22, 1890 in Berlin township and had lived in Belding the past 26
years.

Surviving besides his wife Bessie are one daughter, Mrs. John Tischler of
Belding; three sons, Alvin of Anderson, Ind., Ernest of Belding and Raymond of
Greenville; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Howe of route 2 Belding and Mrs. Ernest
Chickering of route 1 Belding; one brother Hubert Doty of Ionia; 11
grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Huffman funeral home in Belding
with Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating.  Interment will be at Balcom cemetery.
