John C. Douglas, 75, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Kate Tift of 
Belding.  He was born in Canada and lived for many years near Big Rapids.  
Surviving are two sons, John L. of Whitefish, Mont., and Herman L. of Big 
Rapids, and two daughters, Mrs. Flossie Tribe of Big Rapids and Mrs. O. R. 
Strande of Taylor, Wis.  Funeral arrangements await arrival of the son from 
Montana.  The body is at the Fales funeral home
