DOUGLASS, FRANK:

   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, Thurs., 8-2-1956, p 2:  "DEATHS - FRANK DOUGLASS
- MUIR - Frank Douglass, 68, died Wednesday evening August 1 at six o'clock in
the Pleasant View hospital in Corunna.
   He was born in Muir and spent his childhood there.  Mr Douglass resided for
some time in Durand, where he was a Grand Trunk railroad employee.  He was a
member of the Lyons Lodge F. & AM.
   Surviving are his wife, Ellen and one daughter, Mrs Julian Potter both of
Durand and two brothers, William and Scott Douglass, both of Muir.
   Masonic service will be held and funeral services will be conducted Saturday,
August 4 at 2 p.m. at the Congregational church in Durand.  Friends and
relatives are being received at the Scarlett funeral home in Owosso.
   Interment will be in the Durand cemetery."
