DOUGLAS, MARY ELIZABETH (McNAMES):

   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, Tuesday, October 6, 1942, p 3:  "Mrs. Margaret
Elizabeth Douglas, 87, for 63 years a resident of Muir, died at her home Tuesday
morning at 5 o'clock after being in ill health for some time.
   She was the widow of the late John A. Douglas.  Surviving her are three sons,
Frank Douglas of Durand, William Douglas, president of Muir, and Scot Douglas,
also of Muir; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  A fourth son,
Harvey Douglas, preceded her in death.
   Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home in
Muir.  Rev. Paul Stewart of Ionia will officiate and burial will be in Muir
cemetery."
