The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, June 21, 1979
Muir – Scott Douglass, 83, died Tuesday evening at the Ionia Manor after a 
long illness.

He was born April 3, 1896 in Muir, the son of John and Margaret Douglass.  He 
attended Muir schools and worked on many area farms for years.

Surviving Mr. Douglass are two nieces, Mrs. Treva Risdon and Mrs. Heloise 
Eisele; and two nephews, Sterling and Wendell Douglass, all of Fowlerville.

Graveside services will be at the Muir Cemetery Saturday at 11 a.m. with the 
Rev. McDonald of the Muir Presbyterian Church officiating.  

Arrangements are by the Hull Memorial Chapel.
