The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 8, 1968

A former Saranac resident, Homer Dow, died Saturday at an Ionia convalescent 
home following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Dow was born December 14, 1883 in Orleans, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James 
Dow.  An employee at Ypsilanti Reed Furniture company in Ionia, he was also 
sexton of Easton township cemetery many years.

His wife Ruby survives and also nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac with burial in Easton cemetery.
