Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 23 Apr 1958

Miss Evie Adell Dow, 84, of 1403 North Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, died Tuesday
in a Pontiac hospital after being hospitalized for six weeks.

The daughter of James and Adeline Dow, she was born in Orleans, November 1,
1873.  She attended Orleans schools and was graduated from Alma college.  Miss
Dow lived for several years in Detroit where she was employed as secretary of a
real estate firm.  She later moved to Walled Lake.  Miss Dow was a member of the
First Christian church of Ionia.

Surviving are a brother, Homer M. Dow of Saranac, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Stone-Kauffman funeral
home with the Rev. Glenn McCarty officiating.  Interment is to be at Easton
cemetery.
