FOREST L. DOW
Forest L. Dow, 86, died Wednesday afternoon at his home on Emory road, Portland,
route 1.  He was a lifelong resident of the area having been born on the farm where he died.

He was born December 21, 1885, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Dow and his only 
survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Kate Kelly and Mrs. Florence Downing of Portland.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 pm at Neller funeral home in Portland.  Pastpr
G. E. Stecker of Ionia Seventh-day Adventist church will officiate and interment will be
at Danby cemetery.

Bearer will be Kendall and Charles Sipperly, Joseph, Herman, and Leo Russman and
Francis Densmore.
