The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Friday, July 21, 1911
Mrs. Isabelle C. Downs died Friday at Reed’s Lake sanitarium in Grand Rapids, 
where she has been ill for several weeks.  Mrs. downs was the daughter of the 
late Cyrus Lovell, and for twenty or more years a resident of Cyrus street in 
Ionia.  She was 73 years of age and leaves two children, Mrs. Ira Nash, if 
Independence, Missouri, and Miss Nellie Downs, of Boston, Mass.  Also a 
sister, Mrs. Fremont Lyon.  

The remains will be brought to Ionia Saturday morning, and the funeral will be 
attended from the undertaking establishment of Winchell & Stone.
