Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Saturday, Feb. 3, 1951

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Dowsett, 55, who died at her home at 544 East 
Main street Tuesday morning, January 30, were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the 
Myers funeral home. The Rev. George L. Rentschler officiated. 

Mrs. Dowsett was a member of the V.F.W. auxiliary which with the D.A.V. 
auxiliary, attended in a group.

Bearers were Keith E. Buck, Dale Cope, Wilbert Knop, John F. Lesky, Oliver 
Randall and Harzey Munn.

Interment was in the family lot, Easton cemetery.

Relatives and friends attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. 
Beecher Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Richards of Muskegon, Mr. and Mrs. Edward 
Mullen and Mrs. John Roberts of Mt. Pleasant, Leroy Mowl and James Whitney of 
Flint, the Rev. and Mrs. L.B. Whitney of Grand Rapids, Wilbert Knop and Oliver 
Randall of Lansing, Mrs. Richard Alexander of Sheridan, Mrs. Ella Randall and 
daughters of Saranac and Don Storer of Chicago.
