The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, January 2, 1971

Grover Doxsey, 83, died Saturday morning at Ionia Manor.  He was born December 
1, 1887 and was married to Hattie Krick who died April 13, 1941.  He had lived 
in Easton township several years before moving to Ionia after the death of his 
wife.  He was a former sexton of Higbee cemetery, Ionia county.

Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Balcom cemetery with temporary 
interment in the vault.  Permanent interment will be later at Oakhill 
cemetery, Ionia.  Arrangements are being made by Stone-Kauffman funeral home.
