Ionia County News, 3 Oct 1946

Clarence Doxtator, 74, who was with his niece Mrs. Helen Wilsey died suddenly 
of a heart attack as they were preparing to return to Bellville where they 
bought a home two weeks ago.

Mr. Doxtator, who with his niece and family have spent their summers at the 
Wilsey cottage at Morrison Lake, had been in good health until the past few 
days and his sudden death was a great shock.

He was born in Canada and leaves a sister Mrs. Nettie Hershey, of Detroit.  
Also a brother, Lewis of Lyonshead, Canada, thirteen nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9:30 at the Beattie Funeral home.  
Burial beside his wife at Yale, Michigan.
