Daily Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Aug. 28, 1939

Miss Nellie W. Drake, 62, died Sunday evening, August 27, at the St. Mary's 
hospital in Grand Rapids following an illness of the past month.

Miss Drake had been living in Ionia with her sister, Mrs. A. W. Merriam, of 
Rich street and Mr. Merriam. She had taught school many years in Detroit.

Surviving is another sister, Mrs. John Morrison, of Grand Rapids.

Funeral services will be held in Ionia at the Stebbins funeral home on West 
Main street Wednesday afternoon, August 30, at 2 o'clock. A Christian Science 
service will held. Burial will be in Easton cemetery.
