Ionia Sentinel - 7 April1 1969
William H. Draper, 87, of 83 Main Street, Saranac, died early Monday morning at 
a local nursing home following a lengthy illness.  He was born September 10, 
1882 in Ionia County the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hezekiah Draper.  He was a farmer 
in South Boston until 1939 when he moved to Saranac.  In 1930 he married Fern 
Shaver, who passed away in 1952.  On February 12, 1965 he married Irma Cilley.  
A daughter Marian, passed away in 1965.  He was a member of Saranac Community 
church and South Boston grange.



Surviving besides his wife Irma, are one brother, Guy Draper of Detroit; one 
step-daughter, Mrs. Abraham Reedy of Lansing and several nieces and nephews.  
Funeral services will be Thursday at Morris – Roetman funeral home in Saranac 
at 2 pm with Rev. John Hancock officiating.  Burial will be a South Boston 
cemetery.  Family will be at the funeral home Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 
and 7 to 9 pm.
