Her remains were followed to the depot by a great many friends, who came to take their last farewell. They were brought to Ionia over the Detroit, Lansing & Northern railroad and to the residence of her father, Michael Bolan, on Mill street. The funeral services occurred at St. Peter’s (Catholic) church, Saturday morning at 9 o’clock. The church was nearly filled with her many friends, who went to offer up prayers for her soul. High mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Bolte, assisted by Father Pulcher, of Grand Rapids. Father Bolte delivered a very touching discourse on the occasion. A large number of friends accompanied the remains to the parish cemetery where they were interred. May her soul rest in peace.
