The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, June 21, 2007


Geraldine Stephenson Dreger born November 5, 1922, passed away June 13, 2007 
in Plano, Texas.  Survivors include her son William (Lynn); daughter, Carol 
Marie Schmidt; grandchildren, Todd and Kelly all of Plano, Texas; brother, 
Wendell; sister-in-law Margaret; sister-in-law, Ruth Drake of Ionia; brother-
in-law Bill Dreger of Plainwell, Michigan; several great grandchildren, nieces 
and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Wilbur (Bud) Dreger; one 
sister and two brothers.  Gerry lived in Ionia for several years and was 
employed at Michigan Bell Telephone Company in Ionia.  She was also a member 
of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Services were held Monday at 1 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home in Plano, Texas.
