Robert T. Driscoll, 57, of Milan, died Thursday, March 29, 2001 in Ionia.  He
was born on Aug. 17, 1943, in Tyler, Minn., to Thomas and Pearl (Poleski)
Driscoll.  Mr. Driscoll married Jeanette Bedneryczk in Burnside May 29, 1965,
and she still survives. 

He was one of the original founders of the Michigan Farm Radio Network, a member
of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters and received the Distinguished
Service to Agricultural Award from the Michigan Farm Bureau.  Bob was also an
honorary alumnus of Michigan State University and a recipient of Friends of
Extension Award.  He especially enjoyed photography, fishing and electronics. 
He was a Milan resident for more than 20 years.

In addition to his wife Jan, he is survived by his parents, Tom and Pearl
Driscoll of LeMans, Iowa; a son, Patrick (Betty) Driscoll of Silver Lake; a
daughter, Nicole (Troy) Wright of Milan; a grandson, Thomas Driscoll and a
grandson Stephen Thomas Wright on the way; brothers, Ed (Joan) Driscoll of
Dexter, Mike (Joan) Driscoll of LeMans; and sister, Cindy (Tom) Kruse of LeMans.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church
in Saline.  Visitation was Monday and will be 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9
p.m., Tuesday at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until time of service,
Wednesday at the church.  Those desiring may make contributions to the Robert T.
