Ionia Sentinel Standard, 21 Dec 1970

Edward Droste, 83, of Saranac, died early Monday morning at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital.  He had lived in Saranac two years spending most of his life 
in Pewamo.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Slowinski of Lake Odessa and Jane 
Droste of Ionia; three sons, Alvin of Fraser, Charles of Saranac and Gilbert of 
Grand Ledge.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic church in 
Pewamo.  Interment will be at the church cemetery.  Rosary will be recited 
Monday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday 3 and 8 p.m. at Geller funeral home in Westphalia.
