Marilyn was a graduate of Rockford High School and attended Davenport University.She enjoyed being a school bus driver for 29 years for Lakewood Schools. She also enjoyed being a 4H leader for several years and a proud member of Calvary Grace Brethren Church in Alto. She was born April 8, 1934 to Harold and Lucille (MacNaughton) Kitson in Rockford, MI. She married Harley D.Dryer on June 11, 1955. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Dryer; two sisters; a daughter- in-law, and a son-in-law. Surviving are her children, David and Julie Dryer of Reading, Gary Dryer of Portland, Denis and Paula Dryer of Portland, Bonnie and Mark Vanderwall of Clarksville and Harley J.(Lee) and Kim Dryer of Clarksville; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, June 5, 2023 at Roth-Gerst Funeral Home in Lowell, MI from 6 to 9 P.M. There will be additional visitation Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Calvary Grace Brethren Church 13700 84th St.SE, Alto, MI 49302 at 10 AM with funeral services to follow at 11 AM. Please join the family for a luncheon following the services. Pastor Russ Simpson Officiating. Interment at Bowne Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial can be made to Calvary Grace Brethren Church in Alto, MI.
