The Portland Observer, Thursday, September 30, 1937

Funeral services were held at the Banfield chapel Sunday afternoon, September 
26, for Richard Dudeck, 53, well known Portland citizen.  Burial took place in 
the Portland cemetery.  Surviving are the widow, and one son, Jack.  The 
family had lived in this region for many years, first in the Collins 
neighborhood, and then in Portland, and later at the farm south of town where 
Mr. Dudeck died.
