The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 30, 1931

Mrs. Polly Dudhope, 68, died Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Eli Griswold, near Palo, after a week’s illness with 
pneumonia.  Funeral services will be held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eli 
Griswold at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.  Interment will be made in the 
Crystal cemetery by the side of her husband, Thomas Dudhope, who died July 19, 
1924.
